  I'll HAVE SOME WINE WITH TRATT... My hubby & I go to Whistler several times a year; the Trattoria reservation is a priority before we hit the road. With the exception of arriving when they crack open the door...the reservation most likely will be required. We prefer the bar top kitchen prep / seating/ view. I don't eat pork so the menu works well for me, as there is a lot of variety without it. The food for us, has never really disappointed; which is why we go back again & again. The dishes are light -- tasty- rich and they use fresh ingredients; the portions are perfectly sized (not too big & not too small.) My hubby's fave is the tortellini all panna and mine is the warm spinach prawn salad in a lemon cream sauce- also the beef carpaccio is thee BEST. Yum!!!

  Very cosy, relaxed surroundings, great cuisine and superb service. I always choose the Tratt over other restaurants because it is more relaxed.

  For me still the only place to go for pasta or any other Italian food in Whistler. I have even met Umberto here before

  Like it says, rustic Italian fare, the decor makes you feel like you're in an Italian home and the meals confirm that feeling. Can be a romantic meal with a portion of the restaurant tucked away from the larger dining area where families can meet. Will go back for sure

  Great service, quality of food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is comfortable with plenty of room while both seated and moving around the restaurant.
